    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems by performing the following:

    • Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
    • Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
    • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery for periodic maintenance.
    • Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
    • Lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
    • Repair and maintain Premier’s physical structure.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5 years experience working in a manufacturing or related setting performing the duties and responsibilities listed above.
    • Demonstrated experience working with electrical, plumbing and mechanicals.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Detail oriented, and the ability to adhere to program specifications.
    • Strong math calculation, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    Physical Demands:

    Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time daily; including routine use of stairs. Ability to climb, kneel, bend, stretch and balance regularly is required. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Perform equipment/vehicle safety inspections before and after trips, and submits report indicating vehicle condition.
    • Operate a company truck/vehicle in compliance with FMCSA and DOT standards.
    • Transport products/materials to and from area destinations. Occasionally trips might be long distance, but not often.
    • Assist workers in loading and unloading truck as needed.
    • Assist with paperwork – request signatures as needed when making deliveries.

    Skills

    Education / Experience

    • High school diploma or GED; or at least one year of experience driving a flatbed and/or semi-truck
    • Experience in steel fabrication, manufacturing, or similar industry preferred
    • Certified or has the ability to gain certification in forklift driving
    • Has a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with 2 or less ticket violations in the past 3 years
    • Has a valid Medical Card

    Physical Requirements

    • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time daily; incl. frequent use of stairs.
    • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Ability to climb, kneel, bend and stretch regularly required.
    • Must have clear vision and hearing. Position requires physical capability to operate power equipment vehicles (such as forklift).

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Welding of Production Steel Assemblies:

    • Position and clamp work piece together or assemble them into jig or fixture.
    • Tack assemblies together according to specific processes and print specifications.
    • Manually guide electrode or gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld, and size of molten puddle.
    • Perform in-process visual weld inspections of own work for quality and accuracy according to prints. Finish welds according to process and print specifications.
    • Examine weld for bead size and other specifications.
    • Understand and follow weld procedure specifications (WPS).
    • Ability to work overtime is required. When assigned overtime, must be able to report to work two hours before normally scheduled work hours.

    Education and/or Experience:

    Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Qualifications:

    • AWS Qualified Welder. Candidate must be able to achieve this qualification.
    • Print Reading Ability. Candidate must be able to accurately read prints and decipher weld symbols with minimal direction.
    • Overall Performance. Current and past job performance will be taken into consideration when selecting candidates.

    Physical Demands:

    Must be able to frequently stand, walk (including frequent use of stairs), sit, and use hands and arms to reach. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.

    Experience Required

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Consult with clients, vendors, or other individuals to in order to build complete and accurate estimates from prints.
    • Attend pre-bid meetings and perform site investigations to prepare estimates accurately
    • Read and understand contract documents (plans, specifications and addenda)
    • Perform digitized quantity take-offs and organize the quantities with unit pricing in production of an estimate
    • Calculate setup and run rates for resources, material costs and outsourced vendor costs.
    • Solicit bids and quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, if applicable
    • Communicate and reinforce the company vision, values and goals

    Skills and Experience Requirements:

    • Must have a 2 year degree in a manufacturing/industrial/construction related field with 4 – 6 years previous experience
    • Manufacturing/Industrial estimating experience, 5 years required. Experience in a steel fabrication or similar industry is strongly desired.
    • Blueprint reading required, including weld symbols, tolerances, GD&T
    • Strong working knowledge using MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and internet research
    • Previous experience with Visual Manufacturing program is beneficial
    • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge about estimating processes and software
    • Must have technical ability to do electronic take-offs and use estimating software
    • Strong attention to detail and prioritization
    • Leadership capabilities to hire, train, develop and maintain a high performing estimating team
    • Honor commitments without excuses
    • Successful performance in a team environment required
