Korey Stafford – Business Process Coordinator

employee-korey-stafford-268x178Premier took a chance on me. I didn’t have that much experience, but I guess they saw what I could be. It wasn’t just a chance they’ve taken once, either. They let me extend myself and take on big challenges. They give every employee the opportunity to step up and prove themselves. Premier’s confidence in my abilities keeps me invested here.

I’ve recently become involved in software utilization relating to our business. I help ensure we’re using the software to its fullest potential, and I try to help people use these tools to solve their problems. There is always room for improvement, and I like that aspect of my job.

We’ve created an environment suited to cultivate the best in each team or individual. My supervisor sees people for their potential, and I’m thankful for that. He sees how the pieces fit together through the value each person adds. He allows me to develop solutions in my own way and lets me learn by experimentation and self-training in addition to the formal seminars and classes I’ve been sent to attend.

I’ve been at Premier ten years now, and I think the best is yet to come. For me, the best job opportunities will develop as we grow. I would love to become more involved in software and reporting. Many companies have ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software administrators, and I could see myself taking on a similar job at Premier when the need arises. I definitely see myself here in the future.
